Flu Vaccination Service

Are you ready for the fast-approaching flu season? Our pharmacy offers a comprehensive Flu Vaccination Service designed to keep you healthy when it matters the most.

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, can lead to severe illness and even hospitalisation. Our Flu Vaccination Service is tailored to provide you with effective protection against this disease. The service includes a comprehensive consultation with our trained pharmacists, followed by the safe administration of the flu vaccine.

The vaccine works by stimulating your body's immune system to make antibodies that can fight off the flu virus. It offers protection against the strains of the virus that are predicted to be the most common during the upcoming flu season.

The best time to get your flu shot is in the early fall, ideally before flu season, typically peaking between December and February, gets underway. However, getting vaccinated later can still be beneficial in preventing the flu.

The Flu Vaccination Service is beneficial for anyone aged six months and up, particularly those at high risk for flu complications. This includes older adults (ages 65 and up), children, pregnant women, individuals with chronic illnesses, and those with a weakened immune system.

Please remember, seasonal flu can affect anyone; don't wait until the flu catches you, come get your influenza vaccination from our pharmacy today!

Remember, prevention is better than cure - book your flu shot with us today and stay one step ahead of the flu.
NHS Eligibility

The list below outlines individuals who are eligible for the NHS flu vaccine, as they are at a higher risk for complications from the flu. 2. Individuals with diabetes
  3. Those with respiratory issues
  4. Individuals with a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 40
